David joined Haseltine Lake in 2003 and is a Partner in the Chemical and Life Sciences team. Prior to working at Haseltine Lake, he worked as an in-house patent attorney at a commercial research establishment where he was mainly responsible for maintaining the liquid crystal materials patent portfolio and advising on IP agreements.

David continues to work in the general area of displays and across a wide spectrum of chemical and pharmaceutical subject matters. He works for a broad range of UK and overseas-based clients including large multinationals, SMEs and government-funded bodies.
David is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry
