Alan joined Haseltine Lake in 2001 and became a Chartered patent attorney following the 2004 UK examinations. He qualified as a European patent attorney in 2005.
Alan has worked with clients in a wide range of technology fields, including LCD and projection televisions, fixed and mobile telecommunication systems, semiconductor devices, optoelectronic devices, biometric security systems, medical and healthcare systems, automated agricultural machinery and computer software.
Alan also has experience of oral hearings before the Examining and Opposition Divisions at the European Patent Office.
Since 2007, Alan has also been responsible for the management and operation of Haseltine Lake’s Records Department.
