EPO Review of Divisional Practice Decision Published

The EPO Enlarged Board of Appeal decision was published on 28 June 2007. In summary, the existing liberal practice is to be maintained. It will continue to be possible to amend any divisional application or resultant patent, to remove any new matter that was present when the divisional application was filed, subject to the normal rules of amendment.

Ben Billington Retires

Senior Patent Attorney, Ben Billington (Electronics and Communications team) has retired after 38 years at Haseltine Lake. Ben joined in December 1969, his first few years with Haseltine Lake were in the London office before moving to Leeds shortly after that office was established.
